I recently learned a valuable lesson – just because a brand is particularly good in a few areas, they aren’t necessarily good at everything.
Oh, Pantene…why thou forsake me and turn my hair into paper?
Yeah, it’s that bad. Let’s begin…
The Consistency:
For what it’s worth, it’s creamy and smooth. It does smell great.
The Cost:
Very cheap. I paid a little over $6 for this one. It’s available pretty much everywhere.
The Routine:
I used it (only once because that’s all I needed) as a leave-in.
The Result:
Now, don’t be confused by the smile in the picture. It’s a natural reaction. I wasn’t happy. If you look closely at the picture, you can see strands of my hair sticking out and that’s because I was stretching out my hair in disbelief. Oh, it looked amazing when I first put the custard on, but after a few hours, it felt like a dollar-dollar bill, y’all.
My Review:
Pros:
- It’s cheap.
- If you love custards, you might like this one.
- It works best on Type 4 hair.
Cons:
- It made my hair feel like paper.
Bottom line – I do not recommend this product. I’m disappointed because I’m actually a fan of the Pantene brand but this product dropped the ball.
Le sigh. Onto the next product…
